Highway crash kills 5 road workers, injures 3 in Shanghai

Five road maintenance workers were killed and three others were injured when a car lost control and plowed into them on an expressway in Shanghai this morning, officials said.
The incident happened at 11:14am on Chenhai Highway when the car crashed through the road barriers and knocked down the workers, local road authorities said.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
The highway was choked as police condoned off part of the road to clear the crash site.
