Huangpu tourist discount coupons on the way

JINSHAN District will offer 20,000 discount tourist coupons worth 2 million yuan (US$292,397) for visitors to its Fengjing Ancient Town and Chinese Folk Painting Village in Huangpu District.
The coupons are valued at 100 yuan per set. Green coupons can be used at tourist venues and offer up to 40 percent off the price of admission, or boat trips. Red coupons can be used at two restaurants and the folk painting exhibition center and offer a 20 percent discount.
The coupons are valid from April 1 to June 30 and cannot used by tour groups. They will be delivered by neighborhood committees and building managements in Huangpu District.
"If this works, the coupon deliveries will be extended to other districts in the city." said officials.
