THE top three plans in the 2009 Manchester Innovation Award in Shanghai would compete with three other overseas victors in the global final, officials from Manchester Business School said yesterday.

The competition aims to give assistance to youths who want to start their own business. The final winner will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to the University of Manchester and get to discuss their business plans with professors, plus receive 1,500 pounds (US$2,495) in prize money.
