International board
THERE is no timetable for Shanghai to launch its international board, which will allow foreign issuers to sell shares in the Chinese financial hub, the city's mayor said yesterday.
To start the board requires timing, and this was not the best time, Mayor Han Zheng told reporters. However, preparation work was progressing smoothly, he said, and the city was working with the central government over rules and regulations.
