Island district unveils agricultural brand strategy

CHONGMING released its agricultural brand strategy yesterday, together with a unified “landscape” logo for its agricultural products.

In recent years, Shanghai’s island district has prioritized ecological and green development, accelerated the cultivation and integration of agricultural brands, combined with regional characteristics and industrial layout, and built brands of crab, rice, oranges, pears, white goats and vegetables.

The self-owned agricultural brand is developing rapidly, and the awareness of enterprises to develop self-owned brands is also increasing. A number of leading domestic large-scale industrialized agricultural enterprises have moved to the island.

The district will further promote the integration of agricultural brand development with the National Rural Revitalization Strategy, and enhance brand coverage and influence, the government said.
