It's bossa nova time
BRAZIL celebrates its National Pavilion Day today with gala performances in America Square and the Expo Center.
The Brazil Pavilion in Zone C will be closed for the day.
Entertainment includes world-famous Brazilian music and dance, from samba to bossa nova and modern Afro-Brazilian pop, Latin, jazz and other combinations with European and Amerindian elements.
The Brazil Pavilion has the theme, "Pulsing Cities: Feel the Life of Brazilian Cities." The 2,000-square-meter pavilion features an interactive virtual show on life in Brazil.
Visitors can play football with virtual football players and control players from their personal mobile phones.
