It’s cold and it’s hot
The weather will get warm again after the coldest weekend of this autumn with highs returning to 20 degrees Celsius.
Yesterday morning was cold with lows in the suburbs between 5 and 9 degrees. Chongming and Qingpu were the coldest districts, at below 6 degrees Celsius. Sunshine soon brought some daytime warmth and the mercury soon bounced up to low twenties, making the morning and afternoon like two different seasons. There will be some light pollution today with PM2.5 particles being the main pollutant, with sunny skies and a high of 22 degrees: good for residents to do their Singles’ Day shopping. Tomorrow and Wednesday will be mainly cloudy but sunshine will be back on Thursday with highs under 20 degrees.
