Laid-off worker bites off part of boss's ear
A Shanghai man who bit off part of his boss's ear in a rage for being fired has been charged with intentional injury, Huangpu District prosecutors said yesterday.
Wang Xing, 27, allegedly had a fight with his boss Zhang Yong on September 5 last year after losing his job in a local technology company and he believed Wang was to blame.
Prosecutors said Wang beat Zhang fiercely and punched him with fists in the company's meeting room. During the fight, Wang bit off part of Zhang's ear, the prosecutors said.
