SHANGHAI International Lantern Festival will be held at Luxun Park in Hongkou District from September 5 to October 14. A 200-meter lantern in shape of dragon will be the highlight. Comprised of almost 100,000 pieces of porcelain, it was made by more than 150 craftsmen. Other lanterns will feature themes such as London Olympics, Eiffel Tower, the Great Wall and the Shenzhou-9 manned spacecraft.
