Lao republic opens consulate in Shanghai

Lao People’s Democratic Republic opened its consulate general in Shanghai on Wednesday with a ceremony attended by Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Xie Hangsheng and his Lao counterpart Sounthone Xayachack.
The Lao consulate brought the number of foreign diplomatic missions in Shanghai to 73.
Before the opening ceremony, Shanghai Executive Vice Mayor Tu Guangshao met Xayachack and her delegation.
