STARTING today, commuters using Shanghai's Metro system can check STV every morning to see if there are any rush-hour hold-ups.
The city's Metro operators have joined STV to launch a three-minute program at 7:10 and 8:10 from Monday to Friday to provide real time information on service delays or suspensions, today's Oriental Morning Post reported.
Suggestion for alternatives will be given if a station is overcrowded. Commuters can also access the Metro information online (www.shmetro.com) and through local radio programs.
