THE Shanghai International Popular Sports Festival will be declared open on May 10 and close on December 20.
An estimated more than 50 countries and regions and 6000 athletes will take part in the festival during which 16 international sports events will be held, including the Asian X-Games Championships and the World Snooker Shanghai Masters.
