A charity program has been launched at Shanghai Children's Medical Center by offering subsidies to 20 poor children suffering leukemia every year, the hospital said yesterday. Sponsored by the Shenhua Group, each patient can receive up to 65,000 yuan (US$10,320). It is one of the biggest charity programs helping leukemia children on the Chinese mainland.
