AN accused serial killer has denied he killed three people back in the 1980s after he went on trial even though prosecutors showed video footage of him confessing to police.
The defendant, Ai Hongguang, admitted to one robbery but denied he was responsible for the three murders in 1981, cases that shocked the country, as his trial began at Shanghai No.2 Intermediate People's Court on Thursday.
A verdict was not announced on Thursday.
