Man dies at home, no trace of murder

A 69-year-old man has been found dead alone in his apartment on Hunan Road, Pudong, yesterday.
The police have ruled out the possibility of any foul play in his death and are looking for the cause.
The police said the old man, surnamed Cheng, probably had been dead for several days before his wife found his body.
According a witness surnamed Bao, the old man had lived in the apartment with his wife for three years. Their son and daughter live elsewhere in the city and rarely come to visit their parents.
Cheng was found dead in the living room by his wife who came home from a trip at 10am yesterday.
Neighbors said Cheng used to visit his old friend in the same housing complex every afternoon but had stopped the routine since Sunday, saying he didn't feel well.
