Man dies in motorbike drag race

A MAN in his 20s died early this morning after being thrown off an elevated road in Shanghai during a motorcycle drag race.

The accident occurred around 2:20am at the intersection of Gonghexin Road and Wenshui Road, near the city's Middle Ring Road.

Police are still investigating.

Last month, an 18-year-old man died during a motorbike race on Jintong Road.

On June 4, police caught more than 20 young men who were drag racing on Waiqingsong Road on modified motorcycles.
