Man hits 15m yuan lottery jackpot

A Shanghai lottery ticket buyer hit a jackpot of 15 million yuan (US$2.3 million), the Shanghai Sports Lottery Center said yesterday.
The center said the man bought three tickets at 24 yuan each from a lottery sales outlet in Changning District and all the tickets had winning numbers. A Shanghai man living in Yangpu District won 259 million yuan in the China Welfare Lottery on August 10, 2010, making him the second-biggest winner in the country's lottery history.
