Man killed his lover, prosecutors charge

A man has been arrested and charged with killing a woman with whom he had an extramarital affair, local prosecutors said yesterday.
The 30-year-old man, surnamed Wang, has a wife and child, said the Pudong New Area Prosecutors' office.
Wang got to know the victim, surnamed Jin, who also had a family, in 2008 as the two worked in the same factory, prosecutors said.
The two later rented an apartment and lived together at various times.
Their relationship was on and off for about the past year, but recently, after the pair briefly got back together, the two wandered near a stream where Jin told Wang that she wanted to stay with her husband and end the relationship with Wang. Out of rage, Wang choked Jin to death and buried the body in greenery.
Police soon nabbed Wang after Jin's husband reported his wife was missing.
