Manhunt for a robber who cheats victim to open door

SHANGHAI police are hunting for a man who failed a robbery attempt and fled a residential complex in Pudong yesterday.
The suspect tricked a victim to open the door by shutting down an electricity switch outside the apartment around noontime yesterday, police said.
As the resident stepped out to check, the man used a knife to threaten the victim but fled the scene after the victim screamed for help.
The victim's daughter was alerted and called the police.
