Metro station near Bund closed earlier today

The East Nanjing Road station of Metro Line 2 and Line 10 will be closed earlier today, the city’s metro operator said.

No passengers are allowed to enter or exit the station from 16:20pm until the end of today’s operation. Trains will also not stop by the station, the operator said.

The East Nanjing Road station is close to the Bund where a stampede last night killed at least 36 people.
