Moon Boat, Italy Center offer holiday discounts

THE pavilions of Saudi Arabia and Italy during Expo 2010 will offer half-price tickets during the Labor Day holiday next Monday to Wednesday, the operators said today.
The Saudi pavilion, renamed Moon Boat, will charge 50 yuan for admission while the Italy Center will charge 30 yuan. Both venues are in Pudong side of the former Expo site.
Visitors to the Moon Boat will also receive souvenirs. The Italy Center, however, will show Italian art and design in a new exhibit called "Origin, Creativity and Life" in cooperation with Milan Triennial.
The two pavilions, each 6,000 square meters in size, and the pavilions of France, Spain and Russia were given to China by their governments as permanent venues in Shanghai.
A free shuttle bus will take visitors to Moon Boat and Italy Center from the Metro Line 8 station at the China Art Museum.
