New Year's concert by student orchestra

THE Shanghai Student Symphony Orchestra will give a New Year's concert at the Shanghai Grand Theater tomorrow evening.
The group, made up of nearly 100 students from local high schools and colleges, was assembled in August by the Shanghai Education Commission.
It will be their second public performance after their debut in the Music in the Summer Air festival in August.
Students from Shanghai Conservatory of Music will also join them and compete with them in the concert.
Celebrated Chinese baritone, Liao Changyong, and suona soloist, Liu Ying, will also perform at the concert.
