Norwegian nights now online
"NORWEGIAN Evening" in the Norway Pavilion is going online. More than 100 million people all over China and the world can enjoy the Norwegian polar light show in cyberspace.
At http://pavilion.expo.cn/c2066/ssize/, you can switch to the evening mode and visit all the different areas of the Norway Pavilion as it appears in real life, which features animations, 3D-visualization, direct streaming and interactivity.
The 360-degree panoramic view has been updated to show the Secret Garden music video on the display walls in the pavilion.
"With the 'Norwegian Evening' available online, we can now reach a much broader audience letting even more people experience this fantastic multimedia show," says Morits Skaugen, CEO of I.M. Skaugen, who desgined the show.
Every day from 7pm, visitors to the pavilion can see "Norwegian Evening," a specially composed orchestral suite by famous Norwegian band Secret Garden, accompanied by a state-of-the-art multimedia performance and an exquisite light show inspired by the northern lights.
"The Chinese interest in the Expo is huge, but not all Chinese people have the chance to visit Shanghai. What we do is to offer a chance to those who can't visit the Expo physically,"says Arild Blixrud, Commissioner General for Norway at the Expo.
