Official admits bribery charges

AN office director of Putuo District government today admitted bribery charges while on trial in Shanghai No.2 Intermediate People's Court.
Yin Kunneng accepted about 720,000 yuan (US$105,475) in bribes, according to the indictment, and today told the court exactly when and where he received them all.
Yin's family returned all the money after his arrest last December. He was investigated because he had regular card games with former district director Cai Zhiqiang, who was jailed for 14 years for accepting 2.84 million yuan in bribes.
