Pavilions Offering Free Trips
BELGIUM Pavilion: A daily draw will be held during the Expo in the Belgium Pavilion for a five-day trip to the country. Visitors need to text correct answers to questions about Belgium, like who is the king and the number of regions in the country.
United Arab Emirates Pavilion: The UAE Pavilion will run a quiz for the duration of Expo and each month a dozen of names will be drawn, each winning a trip to visit the country's renowned Saadiyat Island, the Burj Dubai Tower, or stay in the seven-star Burj Al Arab hotel.
Australia Pavilion: People are invited to give a Chinese name to Australia's official mascot for the Shanghai Expo - a kookaburra. The winner will receive A$2,000 (US$1,519) and a free trip to Australia. The competition will run through to June 19 and entries can be made via www.australianpavilion.com.
