A PEDESTRIAN was killed by a cement truck yesterday afternoon in the Pudong New Area.
Police said the accident happened about 4:20pm near the intersection of Chuannanfeng Road and Hangcheng Road. The cause of the accident was still under investigation last night. Since November 17, the death toll from accidents caused by heavy construction trucks has reached 19.
