Pedestrian killed in single-car crash as out -of-control sedan ran into sidewalk

A pedestrian was killed in a single-car crash on the intersection of Huangxing Road and Changyang Road at around 8am Thursday, Xinmin.cn said.

The sedan suddenly lost control and ran into sidewalk when making a turn at the intersection.

The car ended up crashing into a concrete pillar on the streetside and knocking over the victim.

The crash is still being investigated.
