CITY police rescued two women held captive by a man in an apartment for three hours in Baoshan District yesterday. The man was arrested.
The women suffered minor injuries such as cuts and bruises, said the police. A TV news report said blood stains were visible inside the room. According to TV reports, the man had a history of drug use and the three knew each other. The suspect and victims were not identified.
