POLICE in Hongkou District have caught a hawker who allegedly stabbed an officer to death at a Metro station last night.
The 40-year-old peddler allegedly stabbed the officer when a conflict broke out between them. He was later detained by police, according to an unnamed witness cited by easterday.com.
The officer was pronounced dead after paramedics arrived. Police are investigating the case.
