Pudong Talent City lures overseas professionals

PUDONG has established a one-stop service center for overseas professionals to start business in the district. The service compound in the Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park opened today.
The so-called Pudong International Talent City contains a hotel, office buildings for startups and government agencies to help with the startup applications.
Professionals can also meet bankers, venture capitalists and private equity company representatives at the center to get financing.
The center also invited overseas Chinese associations and global headhunting companies to move in and provide talent for start-up companies.
The service center is in close vicinity of subsidized apartment blocks for professionals and top research institutes.
Pudong New Area boasts nearly 1 million high-level professionals, the government said today.
