RV and classic car shows included in Auto Culture Festival

RECREATIONAL vehicle and classic car shows will be part of the Shanghai Auto Culture Festival to be held from April 18 to 30.
The festival will take place at Shuijing Square inside the Shanghai International Circuit in Anting town in Jiading District when this year's Formula One Shanghai Grand Prix starts.
The festival includes an auto acoustics event, trial runs of new energy automobiles, an auto advertisement carnival and a shutterbug contest.
Jiading is known for its auto-themed tourism destinations such as the Auto Museum, the Auto Expo Park and Shanghai Circuit Kart Racing inside the Shanghai International Circuit.
It has deep roots in the automobile industry as well. In 1958, the first Shanghai-produced sedan was made in Jiading. As a present, it was sent to the 2nd session of the 8th CPC National Congress, where it was given warm reception.
During the festival, the district will also host other activities such as a wisteria exhibition inside its Wisteria Park and a peony festival inside Guyi Garden.
