"THIS Is Shanghai," a publicity film series featuring the work and lives of the city's ordinary people, will be presented daily at intervals of TV programs on the local news channel starting January 1. More than 500 citizens are taking part. The first season of the series includes four episodes depicting a Metro worker and a primary school art teacher. The new seasons of the series will be made next year. They will aim the lens at others such as traffic cops.
