TWO elderly residents died after a van knocked them down at the intersection of Hongcao Road and Qingzhou Road S. in Xuhui District at 7:30pm yesterday.
A witness said on weibo.com that a woman was driving the van with her parents and a dog in the vehicle. She was stunned when the two victims died on the spot and was crying out aloud when the police arrived on the scene.
