A MENTALLY challenged man was yesterday charged with robbery after he choked his grandfather's sister, 70, to death when stealing money from her in December 2008.
Gan Delu, the defendant, killed the old woman when she refused to give him the money. Prosecutors said he was not charged with murder because of his condition.
