See Saturn on Sheshan Hill


STAR gazers will be able to see Saturn clearly when it reaches opposition to the sun next Monday.

And experts will be on hand to explain the phenomenon at Shanghai Astronomical Museum on Sheshan Hill in Songjiang District, today's Shanghai Morning Post reported.

The museum will stay open late on Saturday night, opening specially from 6pm until 9pm, officials said.

But it's best to reserve a place on 5765-1723 extension 0, and the event may be canceled or postponed if the weather is not good.

Astronomers said Saturn is brightest around this time of year, with the yellow planet rising around sunset, moving high into the southern sky around midnight, and setting about sunrise.
