Shanghai Ocean Aquarium plans underwater World Cup

Shanghai Ocean Aquarium in Pudong New Area will launch its own mini underwater soccer event during the FIFA World Cup tournament.
Prince fish will compete against a team of electric blue haps in the “matches” while a Frontosa cichlid will act as “referee.” The games will take place in a special aquarium decked out to look like a soccer field.
The three types of fish were chosen because they swim at the bottom of the water and are nimble and active, the aquarium said.
Divers will also compete in underwater football matches during the World Cup, the aquarium said.
