HOLLYWOOD A-listers including Nicole Kidman and John Cusack have all graced the ongoing Shanghai International Film Festival. Kidman has brought her new film "Grace of Monaco", and Cusack has announced his new project with Jackie Chan.
Among the Hollywood stars at the festival is Nicole Kidman for the China premiere of her latest film "Grace of Monaco".
The movie follows the legendary Hollywood star Grace Kelly's crisis of marriage and identity, during a dispute between Monaco's Prince Rainier III and France's Charles De Gaulle.
"Grace of Monaco" is the first Hollywood film produced and distributed by Seven Stars Entertainment Media, one of China's largest private media groups since it partnered up with Content Media.
Kidman says she's thrilled to be in Shanghai and expresses her desire to work in China: "This is such a great opportunity as an actor, to be able to come here and to receive the award at the Shanghai Film Festival, and also to keep my desire to keep moving forward, to work here and grow."
John Cusack, star of the blockbuster "2012", has also appeared in Shanghai to promote the film "Dragon Blade", the latest project from Hong Kong action star Jackie Chan.
"I'll be in an action movie, an epic action movie with Jackie Chan. Say yes, say yes quickly," Cusack said.
Oscar-winning actor Adrian Brody also has a role in the movie.
And on the small screen, Big Bird has a new friend in China. As one of the world's most successful children's TV shows, Sesame Street episodes are set to debut on the country's BesTV's VOD platforms, including IPTV and digital TV.
