Shanghai lacking speech therapists
SHANGHAI is short of professional speech therapists to help tens of thousands with speech language disorders, experts said yesterday.
Only two or three public hospitals have speech-language training for children receiving hearing aids or artificial cochlea and only one hospital offers post-surgery language training for children with cleft lip or cleft palate.
