Smoker stopped by police at subway turns out drug abuser
A man has been detained by Metro police for taking drugs and the violation was discovered when he's stopped for smoking inside a local Metro station, local-based Labor Daily reported today.
The man, 38, was found smoking outside the service center at Taopu Xincun Station of Metro Line 11 on the morning of February 23
An officer on patrol found the man, 38, smoking outside the service center at Taopu Xincun Station of Metro Line 11 on the morning of February 23. Apparently breaking the Metro safety law, he's ordered to stop smoking by the cop. The officer later also checked his ID through the police database and found he had a history of drug abuse.
Police sent him for a urine test, which showed he had taken drugs lately. The man denied using drugs at first but allegedly confessed after police found a drug-using tool on him.
