Souvenirs lag
THE 2010 World Expo Souvenir Management Office said sales volume of the Expo souvenirs was at nearly 1.2 billion yuan (US$171 million). The office suggested that food and paper products be added to the souvenirs.
To encourage new ideas, the office is planning a competition to select an "honored Expo souvenir." The winner should be creative in design, production technique and raw material.
