A LOCAL man who allegedly killed his father after his mother refused to give him money was charged with manslaughter yesterday by Qingpu District prosecutors.
Wang Xiaoguang, 27, lived off his parents' money, prosecutors said. On June 1, Wang's mother refused to give him 2,000 yuan (US$293). Wang's father stopped Wang from hitting his mother but got stabbed in the chest. The father died in hospital and Wang surrendered to police.
