JING'AN District police yesterday caught seven people who allegedly killed a security guard over a dispute early in the morning. The security guard, unidentified by the police, quarreled with the suspects in a bar where he worked.
The suspects stabbed the man at a nearby intersection at 2:30am, police said. The man was pronounced dead in a hospital. Officers caught the suspects 10 hours later.
