THE Baoshan District People's Court yesterday sentenced 13 people to prison sentences from seven months to 12 years for stealing from a steel-pipe factory belonging to the Baosteel Group. The gang, headed by Baosteel employee Huang Jianfeng, stole 1.6 million yuan (US$234,201) worth of pipes, wires and niobium iron from December 2007 to July 2008, the court said.
