Street flooded after truck damages fireplug

WATER jetted into the air after a truck knocked off a fireplug on Xuhong Road N. this morning, flooding the road and snarling traffic for about 40 minutes.
The accident happened around 9am when an express delivery truck crashed the fireplug near the corner of Xuhong Road and Nandan Road.
Water spurted 8 meters high into the air and hit the overhead wires and cables.
Firefighters closed the valve of the fireplug around 9:40am and traffic was restored afterwards.
