POLICE are still looking into an incident in which a Fudan University student was allegedly beaten by more than 10 security guards on Monday night.
Initial investigation showed the student also fought back, police said yesterday. The security guards were riding bikes for a training trip and one of them bumped into the student's bicycle outside a Fudan University campus on Guoding Road. The duo then started to argue. When one of the guard's colleagues tried to mediate, the student hit him, angering the other guards. Four of them beat the student until witnesses called police.
