THE International Confucian Association set up a teaching award fund for Confucius researchers and teaching faculties at Shanghai Normal University.
The 1 million yuan (US$146,442) fund was financed by Confucius descendant Kong Weizhong as part of his 2.5 million yuan donation to the ICA.
