Suite show put online
THE "Norwegian Evening" orchestral suite and multimedia display featured in the Norway Pavilion is going online. People in China and around the world can now enjoy the polar light show via cyberspace.
Fans can visit all areas of the Norway Pavilion online as it appears in real life, with animation, 3D effects, direct streaming and interactivity. To gain access log onto http://pavilion.expo.cn/c2066/ssize/.
The 360-degree panoramic view has been updated to show the Secret Garden music video displayed on walls in the pavilion.
"With the 'Norwegian Evening' available online, we can now reach a broader audience and let more people experience this fantastic show," said Morits Skaugen, CEO of I.M. Skaugen, who designed the presentation.
Every day from 7pm, visitors to the pavilion can see the show, involving the specially composed orchestral suite, accompanied by a state-of-the-art multimedia performance and an exquisite light show inspired by the northern lights.
"Chinese interest in the Expo is huge but not all have a chance to visit Shanghai. So we offer something for those who can't," said Arild Blixrud, Commissioner General for Norway.
