TV run for Expo song
TV viewers can enjoy the World Expo promotion song "Bright Moon over the Sea" on major TV channels around China beginning yesterday.
The song, which debuted on the Internet on April 30 and is popular among Netizens, features the voices of a dozen stars from all over the world.
Expo ambassadors - movie star Jackie Chan, local NBA star Yao Ming and pianist Lang Lang - joined Hong Kong star Andy Lau, Russian two-time Olympic pole valut champion Yelena Isinbayeva, Shanghai hurdler Liu Xiang and others to record the MTV song.
The title "Bright Moon over the Sea" is taken from a well-known Chinese poem created in the Tang Dynasty (618-907AD) and each line of the lyrics is a combination of various message in ancient Chinese poems.
