MAJOR supermarkets in the city said they don't sell tainted Want Want Sen Bei, a rice cracker.
The country's quality watchdog announced on Tuesday that the snacks in Shandong Province contain escherichia coli, or E. coli. The bacteria can cause bloody diarrhea, fever, stomach cramps, vomiting and, in severe cases, acute kidney disease.
