The greatest reads for kid bookworms
The 7th China Shanghai International Children’s Book Fair will be held at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center in Pudong between November 15 and 17.
It is expected to attract 40,000 visitors, the city’s press and publication bureau said yesterday.
More than 60,000 of the latest children’s books will be displayed at the annual fair.
Almost a third will be from abroad.
A Chinese version of Polish Nobel Laureate Olga Tokarczuk’s only picture book, “The Lost Soul,” will make its debut at the fair.
More than 400 domestic and overseas exhibitors from more than 30 countries and regions will take part in the fair, covering fields such as traditional publishing, digital publishing, cultural and innovative products, toys and education.
Around 200 exhibitors will be foreign, an increase of 25 percent compared with last year.
